Summer Music Festival Jam Winners Announced

The grill is hot, the sands are hot, and – most important of all – your worlds and avatars are hot.

Your Summer Music Festival Jam winners are here! As always, we’re blown away by the skill of our creative community, who have brought out their absolute best to celebrate summer vibes.

As a reminder, the Summer Music Festival Jam was open to world and avatar creators, encouraging both to create content that was season-appropriate, full of vibes, and accessible to our entire community. If you’d like to see the full details, you can check out the original blog post here!

Enough stalling – let’s get into the winners!

World Selections

Worlds were judged based on a few categories:

  • Summer Vibe-iness

  • Media Player Integration

  • Performance Level

  • Ease of Use

Given that, here are our selections:

You’ll be able to visit all of the winners *and* runners-up via the Summer Music Festival world row, which is live now! Also, all of the winners’ worlds will be featured in the new home world.

All of the winners will be added to the public avatar row! Likewise, the winners and the Runners-Up will be featured in the new home world.

In addition to being featured in the world row/new home world, all winners will also receive a year a VRC+!

One More Thing!

What’s a bunch of party worlds without a party?

We’ll be hosting a music event in one of the winning worlds featuring DJs from the VRChat dev team! You can catch the event on August 26 from 5PM PDT/8PM EDT to 8:45PM PDT/11:45PM EDT! To get into the event, you’ll have to join the Ministry group. Big thanks to them for helping us host this event!

(You’ll also be able to find it on vrc.tl – which, by the way, is an incredible resource for seeing what events are going on in VRChat on any given day!)
