Celebrate Pride 2025 All Month Long in VRChat
Join Us in Supporting Trans Lifeline and Uplift LGBTQIA+ Voices Together
For over a decade, VRChat has been a place where its users can explore their identity, meet others, and find community. It’s no wonder, then, that so many LGBTQIA+ folks call VRChat home.
This Pride Month, we thought it was time to support that community directly.
First, we’ll be partnering with Trans Lifeline, a trans-led nonprofit that offers direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis. We’ll be hosting our first-ever charity fundraising campaign, where VRChat will match all Gift Drop purchases starting June 11, donating up to $50,000.
We’ll also be dedicating the entire month of June to spotlighting the creativity and joy of our LGBTQIA+ community by highlighting their groups, worlds, and creations. This will include a brand-new Pride Hub World, with Pride Floats built by our community.
No matter who you are, there’s a place for you in VRChat.
Here’s what Pride Month will look like in VRChat
📅June 11: Charity Hub World & Fundraising Begins
On Wednesday, June 11, we’ll launch the VRChat Pride Hub World. Here, you’ll be able to explore Pride Floats built by different groups in VRChat! In addition, we’ll be giving the VRChat Home World a Pride-focused coat of paint for June. Check it out!
Most importantly, our charity fundraising campaign for Trans Lifeline begins. VRChat will match all Gift Drop purchases starting June 11, donating up to $50,000. 20% of VRC+ Gift purchase will go toward the charity goal, which you’ll be able to track in the VRChat Home World.
📅June 20: The Official VRChat Pride Parade Stream
Join us for the Official VRChat Pride Parade Stream, where we showcase incredible avatars, float builds, and performances from LGBTQIA+ creators in VRChat. You’ll be able to find this on our Twitch channel on June 20 at 2:00 PM PST (9:00 PM UTC).
📅June 30: Exclusive Pride Content Rewards
As we wrap up our campaign, we'll release the final exclusive rewards when we hit our fundraising goals. If you gift a VRC+ subscription from June 11 - June 30, you'll automatically get a badge and the special surprises at the end of the month!
📸Throughout the Month: Share Your Pride on Social Media
Throughout June, share your VRChat + Pride-related pictures on social media with the tag #VRCPride2025! Keep your eyes on our social media accounts throughout the month as we reveal a few special surprises for the VRChat community!
