Spookality 2024 Winners Announced!

We’ve judged your conjurations and constructions, your apparitions and summoned fiends. After much deliberation (see: being really scared but trying to act really cool and unbothered) we’re ready to announce the Spookality 2024 winners. 

Also… we’re exhausted! This year we saw more entries than ever before. Even if you didn’t win, we’re so excited (and honestly, a little terrified) by just how much enthusiasm there was this year.

With that said – no more delays! Let’s get right into the winners.

Avatar Winners

First up: Avatars!

As a reminder, the top ten winners in this category will receive one year of VRChat+ and a spooky glow-in-the-dark VRCat enamel pin set. Additionally, the top 25 avatars will be featured in an “Avatar Picker” in the Default Home world. As a note, it won’t be by the usual mirror, but by the Size Adjustment area!

World Winners

This year, we had TWO world categories. First up is the Fractured Realm category, where creators had to conjure a world where one player has different goals and abilities from the others. In this category, the top ten entities receive one year of VRChat+ and a spooky glow-in-the-dark VRCat enamel pin set.

The top ten worlds will be featured in a special room in the default Home World. Originally, we were going to feature 25 worlds – but there were some duplicates across both categories, so we limited it to ten.

The second world category was the Spookality Showcase. This had a simple theme: just make it spooky! For this category, the top 25 worlds will be featured in a special Main Menu category. As there are a lot of them, we’re not listing them here – you’ll have to go into VRChat to see them!

Welcome to Spooky Season!

The winners above will have their content featured from October 21 to November 4. We strongly encourage you to check ‘em all out during that time – if you’re brave enough, that is. As a note to the winners, we’ll be emailing you shortly on the email address associated with your account to make sure you receive your Spookality pins!
